Oakland Athletics’ center hitters Brent Lucker and Jesus Aguila set a record for the 5th time in major league history. Hit two back-to-back home runs in one game.

Oakland played an away game against the Los Angeles 먹튀검증Angels at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, USA on the 25th (Korean time).

Rooker hit 3 and Aguila hit 4 and put his name on the starting lineup. Oakland hit a home run in the first inning. After two outs, Rooker hit a 93.2 mph fastball, the first pitch of Angels starter Suarez, into the middle and hit it without missing it, launching a solo home run (season 5) that went over the left fence.

Aguila then hit a 84.8 mile change-up on the 4th pitch from 1 ball, 2 strikes, and hit a solo home run (season 3) that went over the wall in the middle left. It was a back-to-back home run.

In Oakland, in the second inning, Kevin Smith fired a three-run homer from second and third base safely.

And in the third inning, leading 5-1, Rooker and Aguila hit home runs again. Rooker hit Suarez’s 82.4 mile changeup on a full count and hit a home run (season 6) with a home run that went over the left fence.

Aguila then pulled an 82.4 mile slider on the third pitch on a 1-ball, 1-strike, and fired a solo home run (season 4) that went over the fence in the middle. It was another back-to-back home run.

It was the first time in Oakland club history that the same player hit two back-to-back home runs in the same game. Also, in the entire major league, the same hitter combined for back-to-back home runs twice in one game is the fifth record.

Rooker went 4 at bats with 2 hits (2 homers), 2 walks, 3 RBIs and 2 runs, while Aguilar went 4 at bats with 2 hits (2 homers), 2 RBIs and 2 runs.

Oakland hit five homers in the third inning. On August 21, 1997, he hit 5 homers in the 3rd inning for the first time in 26 years since he hit 6 homers in the 3rd inning against Boston.

The match that day was a brawl. Oakland took a 7-1 lead with a home run in the early stages, but allowed a 7-8 comeback in the 7th inning. In the last attack of the ninth inning, the score was tied 8-8 and went into overtime. He scored 3 runs in the 10th inning and allowed a two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th to win 11-10.
