The 5th Jecheon Tournament of the KBA 3×3 KOREA TOUR 2023 will be held in September.
The Korea Basketball Association held the ‘KBA 3×3 KOREA TOUR 2023 5th Jecheon Tournament’ at the parking lot in front of the Jecheon Gymnasium in Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do for two days from September 9th to 10th. It is held with the support of Jecheon City and Jecheon City Council, as well as Donga Otsuka, Molten, Unicorn Ranch, and One Day Amino.
This tournament is the fifth tournament of the Korea Tour in the 2023 season, and a total of 64 teams from 7 categories, including elementary school, middle school, high school, open, women’s open, and Korea League (male/female), are accepted. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and in the case of the previous 4th Iksan Tournament, which was held in Iksan, Jeonbuk, there were a lot of participating teams, so it may be necessary to register quickly as you could feel the heat for the 3×3 Korea Tour event, to the extent that the number of participating teams was increased more than planned.
In the Korea League men’s division, there are a total of 11 teams, including Haneulnae Inje with Park Min-soo and Kim Min-seop, Black Label with Song Chang-moo and Byeon Ki-hoon, Master-wook with Kim Jeong-nyeon, the No. team participates안전놀이터
A total of 5 teams will participate in the Korea League Women’s Division, which will be held for the second time in the Korea Tour following last year. Distinguished players such as Lee So-jeong and Park Eun-seo, who were on the 2022 FIBA 3×3 Asian Cup women’s national team last year, retired professional basketball players such as Park Chan-yang and Kim Doo-na, and the active unemployment team basketball team will participate.
Meanwhile, this year, unlike last year, a total of 6 Korea Tour tournaments will be held, and the final 6th tournament will be the finals, where teams that won in the 1st to 5th tournaments will compete to determine the true champion.
Jecheon City, Chungcheongbuk-do Basketball Association, and Jecheon City Basketball Association are actively hosting the 3×3 Korea Tour for the first time in Jecheon. As it will be held in a new area, it will be with a large number of spectators. All games will be broadcast live through YouTube of the Korea Basketball Association, and some games will be broadcast live through Naver Sports.
